Catwalk Make-up - Egyptian Style

    Today it was quite a bad day, I had to wake up early to wait for my aunt to give a call on whether she is bringing the kids for me to babysit or not. Apart from that, to topple it up, for the past two days, I'm waiting to receive my exam results and I'm constantly worrying and feeling sick because I'm afraid that I'm going to have bad results. This night I even dreamed receiving my results - which I dreamed that I went good! God help me and make my dream come true! hahahaha. Anyways, I heard that tomorrow we're going to receive them. FINGER CROSSED! 


    Not to make a sad post today I thought I'll show one of my catwalk make-up which unpredictably came out to resemble an Egyptian one. I think this make-up is one of my best ones.

Make-up Portofolio

   Today I started the day by waking up at 8.30 in the morning to go for my car lesson. When I arrived home I went to buy some take away food because two of my workmates and friends were coming over to my house to make a make-up and photo session for my make-up portofolio. 


   Around 12.30pm after we finished eating and showing Toffee to them, I started doing the first make-up for my make-up portofolio - gold and black for Monica. After that, which took me quite a lot of time than usual because the phone was constantly ringing hahaa, I started the make-up on Megan which I opted for Electric Blue and Midnight Blue as she's quite a blonde. Then to top it all I used gold and lime to do it on myself. You know I wanted to jump in and have some fun with them (: 


   After we were finished we when to a small garden near my house with the photographer, which she is also my friend, and took some photos there. I saw some of them and they looked great! Infact I loved them. 


* I know you can't see what I'm talking about but supposedly my friend would e-mail the photos for me tomorrow, and then I could show some to you :D


   Anyways, as today it's Wednesday, me and Monica we went to Zumba and I must say, today I really enjoyed it ee because I'm getting better now in Zumba.

   I still have not calculated how much I've sent and I already now that it is too much! I'm a shopaholic and sometimes I can't not buy something haha. I love to buy things to muchhh. 

   Today I went to buy a pressie with my friend for our friend who works with us because next week she is going back to Spain because she was offered a good job opportunity and she can't refuse it. We are very sad because we're going to miss her. Even our beloved Marrana (her nickname) is sad because she was planning to stay in Malta for at least 3 years. But oh well, we can't do anything, at least we still can communicate from facebook or Skype. 

   This is all for today as I have to tidy up my room and then prepare for work because on Wednesday, I'm going to have some friends home to do some make-up on them and then some photoshoots to build up my make-up portofolio as I also have to sent out a CV to work as a make-up artist. Hope everything goes well! :D

...Bijoux Toi

     Yesterday I visited my friend's shop Bijoux Toi again and I found some good things and best thing was that they weren't expensive. I bought a dress, a pair of shoes, earrings and a ring and in total they only came 40.95 euros and because she knows me, my friend discounted the prices and left them for only 37 euros. I think they were well worth it.

I got the dress for 14.95 euros

These earrings were 5 euros!

This one's a cute one! I love chunky rings and it only was 5 euros!

These shoes were only 16 euros and when you wear you can do the strings in a bow which comes out really cute :3

  Tomorrow I have to pick up a grey dress too because I have done some alterations on it. It's really cute too but I like this pink one best! It's adorable. 

Tonight there's a zumba fundraiser for an organisation named Puttinu Cares. This organisation helps the children in need. So me and friends decided to spend our evening at Luxol Grounds in Pembroke doing some Zumba for a good cause (:

Get the Look - Evening/Special Occasion Look

    I really lovee this look. It was my first try and it came out perfectly! I am sure that I'm going to re-do again some time soon. 

• For starters, I applied my Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation No 100 Ivory.
• After that I applied Essence 3 in 1 Concealer under my eyes, on my chin and in the edges of my nose and then I applied Max Factor Creme Puff No 13 Nouveau Beige all over my face.
• To start with the eyes, I applied Max Factor Colour Perfection Eyeliner No 2 Black underneath my eyes then I started with the Essence Quattro Eyeshadow No 7 Party Animal (I chose the yellow colour as it comes in 4 different colours) on my inner corner of the eye to make a good base for the gold. 
• When I was finished with that I applied La Femme Eyeshadow Palette (I chose the bronze colour) in the outer part of the eye.
•  On top of that, under my eyebrow I used Essence Eyeshadow No 02 Dance All Night to define better the eye. When I was finished with that I blended all the colours together. 
• On top of the Bronze colour, I started to add bit by bit and blending slowly Rimmel Eyeshadow No 214 Jet Black in the outer part of the eye. 
• When I was satisfied with the amount of black I applied I started to apply the gold colour on top of the yellow base. The model and make of the gold I don't know by heart and I have left it by mistake at my aunt so I can't check, but you can always use  any other gold colour like Barry M Dazzle Dust Gold No 96. It will do the trick ;)
• Again I started to blend the colour to my satisfaction and I added some more colour to make it bold, as I lovee heavy make-up. 
• Then I applied Rimmel Glam Eyes Professional Liquid Eyeliner on my eye lid and Max Factor Master Piece High Definition Mascara on my lashes.
• On my eyebrows I used Essence Quattro Eyeshadow No 05 Aqua Flash and I chose the dark purple colour. 
• When I was finished with my eyes I applied Revlon Blusher No 02 Sunkissed Bronze underneath my cheekbones parallel to my ear lobes. Underneath that again I used Essence Eyeshadow No 02 Dance all Night as a highlighter.
• As a lippie I chose E.L.F Mineral Lipstick No 6710 Cheerful Cherry (which I love this lippie as it has a bold colour).
• To finish up with the look I used La Femme Bronzer No 02 all over my face. 

And now ...

Have I already told you that I REALLY LOVE New Look?? I'm crazy about their clothes and I think in the beginning of next week I'm going to pay them a visit as they have Summer Sales up to 50% off!

What I have been up to ..

                         Hiya there, I am back :D
   As the title says, this blog is going to be about what I have been up to these couple of days. So lets start. 


   Friday morning, I packed my bag with some things I would need to go to sleep at my aunt's house and babysit my little gremlins, Neil who is 7 years old and Amy who's next week is turning 2 years old. It was a while since I last saw them and the first thing I noticed was how much Amy was starting to speak!  Anyways, when I arrived at my aunt's house, I settled down and started to play with Amy until my uncle came home with Neil. Later at night, we made a pygama party and ate lots of sweets and packets while watching TV. Then we went in the balcony and blew some bubbles. Neil loved that!


   Saturday morning, I joined my aunt and Neil to a party at the Mediterraeano. First we watched the sea lions show, then we visited the reptile house and before cutting the cake we watched the parrot show. After we ate something, we watched our last show - the dolphins show. 

  

  

   After that, we went to do some shopping in The Point, Sliema. Later in the evening I went to work and after that I went out with my friends and workmates to Oreilly's Pub and then we went to loose some energy at Fuego. 

   Today I went to pick up my Barry M cosmetics from the post office. Later on, when I'll use them, I will review them and show you the look I will create with them. Until then, here's a sneak peek to the colours I bought.
