   As it was a long time since I have read a book, I decided to purchase some of Danielle Steel's books to pass my summer time now that I FINALLY finished my exams :o) Feathers are also in fashion at the moment and as I was surfing through E bay and found the Nude feather earrings, I couldn't not press the buy now button ;) (I have also purchased another pair for the lucky winner who'll win the giveaway - the second post that I'm going to post for today).

 
   Do you enjoy reading a book? Who's your favourite author? By far, one of my favourite authors is Danielle Steel having read around 18 books (excluding the 3 I purchased this week).

Free Spirit

                                                        Hiya there
   I'm currently eating some cherries, watching Private Practice and thank God not bored as I've been bored studying for days! But as I wrote on Facebook, today's my break day and my guilty day. My pleasure day as I'm taking a break from all the studying - this morning I went out for a BBQ with my workmates and this evening I'm going to the Luna park with my friends (don't know if I'm going to be able to get some photos as I'm without a camera as at the moment all the photos that I've been providing are taken by my friend's camera). Today is also my guilty day, as I haven't lifted a paper but then my study load is going to be doubled tomorrow!

   Anyways not to brag any more, I'm uploading for you the photo of the outfit I wore last Friday evening to Gianpula.

   What I love the most is wearing new stuff. I really love the feeling of self-confidence when wearing something new. At the moment, feathers are really in fashion and I equipped myself with a pair of earrings which I'm totally in love with, I also bought the shoes to match them 8-) Oh and apart from the shoes being lovely, they're extremely COMFORTABLE really! Unfortunately, we didn't stay long to take some more photos as my friend got really drunk and I had to drive her back home.

Here I heard you were a WILD ONE

   Apologies for not writing for almost a month but I'm extremely busy with studying as I'm sitting for my exams in a week and for the past week I had no internet connection - Damn download limits!


   Last Friday, was the opening of Gianpula and my friends and I decided to go out for some partying. For you bloggers who don't live in Malta, Gianpula Fields is situated near Rabat where some concerts take place and especially on Fridays there's the G7 Gianpula parties.

   I don't know if you remember me mentioning in one my posts that I was awaiting an order from Boohoo. Well the playsuit is one of my purchase. Initially, I had seen this playsuit on Boohoo's magazine and I got infatuated ;) as I didn't own a playsuit before. When I opened the parcel, I was a bit put off as the design was not how I imagined it as obviously seeing it on a mag and actually seeing it eye to eye it's quite different. However, the way I styled my look, I fell immediately in love with the playsuit and felt really comfortable in it.

   Below are photos of my friends and I having some fun!

Boohoo's Mary Coral Canvas Flat Espadrille

I've been wanting to write a review on this espadrille for a week now but I haven't had time till tonight as tomorrow I have a presentation to do at school for my Maltese class and I had to prepare stuff and things for it.

I must say I am really glad and it was a great choice to purchase this lovely espadrille as it's really comfortable. Apart from that the price is really worth it as it's only 14 euros plus at the moment the espadrilles are really in fashion. What's really great is that espadrilles go with a lot of different outfits - beachwear as seen in the post Sea of Love, casual and great with jeans.

The only thing I was not pleased about is that because the espadrille is made of canvas it gets dirty easily on which I don't have any control as any shoes made of canvas gets dirty and you'll find people stamping on your foot (which makes me really pissed haha!).

I would definitely recommend these espadrilles to you beautiful followers and to my lovely friends because as I said they are comfortable and really amazing!

Sea of Love

   Summer is my favourite season and although I still haven't got my first swim for this year due to the water being too cold for my liking, I went to White Rocks at Bahar ic-Caghaq with my friends to sun bathe. Unfortunately now my shoulders are sun burnt and I can't keep any bag on my shoulders :( Anyways, it serves me right, so that maybe one day I will learn to put on some sun block haha :-)

   Also, my Boohoo purchase has arrived on Friday - you can see one of the shoes purchased and the tan bag in the photo above. The espadrilles are really comfortable and I'm glad that I bought 2 pairs. When I unwrapped the bag from its plastic bag, at first I was taken a back as it was a bit too big for my liking and for my comfort zone but after two days wearing it, I'm falling in love with it. Regarding, the other pair of espadrilles and the playsuit I bought you'll see them in another post when I'll wear them.

   If you'd like me to dedicate a post for just the Boohoo purchase, don't hesitate to tell me. I'll gladly do another post and upload some more up close photos of my purchase. I've also purchased some rings from e-bay but I'm still waiting for their arrival and as they have to come from China, the package  will be here in Malta around 2 weeks from my purchase.

   I'm sorry for the repeatedly use of New Look but I really really love it :-) Practically half my wardrobe is from New Look xD


   During my Easter holidays, I met up with some of my classmates for a day out at Bugibba  and for some pizza at Pizza Hut. It was ages, since the last time I ate from Pizza Hut and it was delicious :-) I just love BBQ Chicken pizza and with the cheesy crust! Mmmmm yummyyy!!


   I actually purchased the maxi dress last summer and I love it as it's so comfy that practically every time I wear I don't want to get it off.


   Tonight I ordered, some stuff from Boohoo and I'm really looking forward to receive them soon. My order consists of an Aztec playsuit, 2 espadrilles and a bag. As soon as I will have some time, I will do an outfit post with my new purchase :)

Last Friday, I went out with 2 of my girl friends to watch 'This means war' and later we went to splurge ourselves with some cocktails at Hugo's Lounge. I'm one of those that you're always find me with a Pina Colada in my hands. I just love it's sweet taste!


'This means war' is one of those comedies that you would enjoy watching. I don't want to spoil the story for those who till have to watch but as a small summary on the movie it's about two best friends working in the CIA  and doing all sorts of things to influence the girl, they fancy, to choose them.

Carnival!

  Hope all is well with you. I know I have promised you that the next post is going to be about the purchase that I've been bragging constantly about but two of the sweaters are in the washing and I want all the stuff to be in the same post as I have another new purchase to show you. 


Anyways today, I'm going to post about the Carnival I attended in Gozo. 

  I think the photos just says it all. You can see how wonderful the pool looked like but unfortunately, we could not use it as it was really freezing. Also you can see some wonderful scenery of Gozo (I'll probably go back in summer as it's only 20 mins far with a ship from Malta and I will take more photos of Gozo per se then what we did there). 


  The weekend I spent in Gozo was really cold and I had to wear a blouse and a jersey underneath my costume so that at Nadur, where there were a lot of people with different costumes and even cargoes made especially for carnival, I wouldn't freeze. 


  Overall, it was a great experience, even though some small disagreements arose between us but it figures being a big group of 17. But all is well, and we had a great time there.

Hello Kitty Raspberry Muffins

                                         Hello there
   Today I felt like baking some muffins and went out to buy some ready mix muffins as I didn't feel like doing them from scratch and as before I had  saw these Hello Kitty Raspberry Muffins  packets, I was dying to try them out. So voila!


                                 They were really easy to do! 

   As the packet was going to expire next month there was a special offer when buying this packet you'd also get a packet of Hello Kitty Cake Loaf which of course was a bonus! 

   The packet contained - mix for muffins, pink sugar frosting mix, a sheet of decorative wafers and 12 muffin cases (I only used 10 muffin cases).


 The below information is taken from the back of the packet and I take no credit whatsoever.


   Just add: 100g cooking oil and 100g water = 110ml cooking oil and 110ml water 
                                      with the mix for muffins


1. Prepare the muffins
Place the 12 muffin cases in a baking tray. Preheat  oven (see below). Pour mix into a mixing bowl, add water and oil. Whisk everything together with a hand mixer for approx. 2 minutes until smooth in consistency.


2. Fill in and bake the mix
Use 2 tablespoons to evenly distribute mix in the muffin cases. Bake on middle level for approx. 20 minutes. After baking, allow muffins to cool on a cake grid. 


3. Decorating the muffins
Pour the pink sugar frosting mix into a small bowl, carefully add 3 tablespoons of water (20ml) and stir to create a thick glazing paste. Use a teaspoon to spread this frosting evenly on top of the muffins (1 teaspoonful per muffin) and create a smooth surface. Carefully remove the Hello Kitty figures from the wafer sheet. Use a knife to cut a small slot into the top of the muffin and stick a figurine into the slot.


Top-/bottom heat: approx. 180 degrees celsius, Gas Mark 4
Fan assisted heat: approx. 160 degrees celsius
Preheat oven! Bake for approximately 20 minutes.

                   Before putting the mix in the oven to bake.

                     Out from the oven! Now on to the decorations. 
   As I don't like the frosting instead I spread jam on top of the muffins and to make the muffins more fancy I added some millions and thousands (vermicelli) and some small chocolate decorations in the form of hearts, stars, and moon.
